No trivia or quizzes yet. I have a Cushcraft MAV – and this shortened antenna is covered in the chapter that discusses of how such a small short hatted vertical works.
If you don’t have acres of land then this book is probably not for dxibg. If you want to work the low bands just put up a full length dipole. Paul Rockwood marked it as to-read Mar 29, I am running 5 watts of CW on these phased dipoles and working into EU, and loving every minute of it.

The reason they sell it wrapped in plastic at the Ham fests is because if you look through it as soon as you see all those complex formula’s your going to run! John shows how you can DX with even wire antennas and barefoot.
